Dedicated to Chris Waddington - Forever Missed

Although, it is will be 1 year soon since we lost you, it still feels like yesterday. There is not a day that goes by without remembering and truly missing you. You walked such a blazing pathway when your feet was on this earth that your imprint lingers on. You may be gone but my love, you're ever all around.
Ever so grateful for life and living it as it was your last day, you were really passionate about flying your Pitts Special for your own hobby, competing, or doing heart displays for private events - it really made you feel alive. You also worked as a flying instructor teaching trainee pilots Upset Recovery. You have finally got your wings and I am sure you are still doing your displays in the Pitts in Heaven. Your last flight was indeed to Infinity & Beyond.
Also nicknamed as 'Boy Wonder' from your Army years, you have left some wonderful memories and touched so many lives with your gentleman, kind, witty sense of humour, always so focused traits. On the 1 year anniversary of your take off from earth, we are coming together to pay tribute to you and those beautiful memories left behind.
In your memory, I have chosen a charity chosen that is related to your passion - Flying with a mission - the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Your last display scheduled on 28th Aug 2022 was also related to raising money for the same charity and that contribution could not be accomplished due to your tragic passing. Midlands Air Ambulance were also on site to help on that day. Very close to the heart, I also take the opportunity to thank the charity for their quick response on that day.
Midlands Air Ambulance are currently raising funds for opening a new charity shop in Hereford and they are continuously going around to local schools to teach vital life saving mission support skills and doing talks to communities.
To all the guests for the event, please help raise some money in Chris's name for Midlands Air Ambulance. Your contribution will go for a really good cause and appreciate any help that you can provide in Chris's honour.
